I am a veteran of the Iraq War. After retiring from military service, I worked at the VA, where I put in a lot of hard work and built strong relationships with my colleagues. I had supported Trump in the past, but after he took office, I began to notice that many of his policies seemed to target individuals like me—supporters who found themselves laid off. Now, I’m in a difficult situation. I have two children to support, and I don’t even know how to explain this to my wife. It feels unjust, and I’m unsure where to turn next.
I recently saw a post on X about a march on Washington for veterans on March 14. I’m considering joining, as it seems like a way to stand up for those of us who feel unheard.

这与什么年轻人投身什么主义不同，那是凭激情，而且不需要对家庭什么的负责。
我认为美国人或者社会的问题是世界观问题，不懂得世界上的事情，缺乏对比，总是那种we are number one的意识，导致思维狭隘。美国人原来只有10%的人有护照，911后因为加拿大墨西哥要求护照而让美国人拥有护照的比例达到40%，但真正走出美洲的还是那10%。
